Bio

Mario took his first improv class with Tony Award winner Anthony Crivello  in 1981 and was hooked!  In 1991 he joined Comedy Airlines, one of the Delaware Valley's first Improv groups.

In 1992 he started working with Comedy Sportz and was proud to point out that Comedy Sportz started in his home state of WI.  The group was quick to suggest he move back!  Mario has done a number of industrial films and some commercial work in the area.  He is most proud of the time he spent working for Merv Griffin on the game show RUCKUS.  Getting paid to play games, go figure.

Why I got involved.

I came out of the bathroom after a friends show and Mary and Thomas had been talking.  Thomas said, “Mario would do it wouldn’t you”?  I replied, “Hell yes”. Mary said, “Great let’s do it then”.   I then asked what it was we were doing.  Mary let me know I had already agreed and that formed a verbal contract and I would be sued for the cost of the production if I did not fulfill my legal obligation.  The rest is history.
